Well i was one of the people who bought the geforce 3 ti 200 at bestbuy on wedsnday and then went back to get my nice rebate and 50 dollar instant rebate . Feel sorry for the poeple whio had to wait in line just to buy something while i just went in and gracefully went to the return and exchange line with my lovely geforce 3 ti 200. Anyway
I just wanted to say that this card is amazing for 99 bucks . Right now i currently have it clocked to 241/491 practically geforce 3 ti 500 speeds. The card successfully passes 3dmark2001 with 10 go's with no artifacts and so goes with the games. CS , Unreal T, you name it.
I did run the ram at 251/480 and it locked out on the dragon scene in 3dmark2001. I definityl think the ram is 4ns ram.
I am also running the beta 22.80 Xp drivers which report a 5 percent increase of speed since the previous drivers.
I was going to buy the radeon 8500 retail but for price and performance the geforce 3 ti 200 is the best thing out and it was a good grap at the time!
It would of cost me another 140 bucks for a retail radeon 8500 which i could use to upgrade my cpu

glad to hear you guys got them! Can you guys post some benchies for us?
I gota pny geforce 3 ti200 and am getting the same results.... im at 230x500...with stock cooling. as soon as i get some better cooling i will push it some more. Easily the best performace for the buck card out there.

here is what I have learned so far to overcock it.
Simply open the Windows Registry Editor by typing "regedit" in the Run Menu of Windows. Then open the following directory: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global" Right click on the "Global" directory and create a new key titled "NVTweak." Next, right-click on the NVTweak key and create a new dword value named "Coolbits." Adjust the value of Coolbits to "3" by double clicking on it and entering "3" in the value data field.

I got one of the Ti200's from BB this morning and was able to overclock it to 225/530 so far. I didn't really want to push the core yet so I'll work on that later tonight or tommorrow. But I was amazed at that memory score! It's perfectly stable at that. I think that core should be up farther by the end of tonight.
man I never really ran 3d mark cuz the v5s suck big time at it but I only got 6223 at 200/420 and my floppy drive was searching for a disk every test is that normal? I hope I can get about 8000 on 3d mark 2001.

Yep. Wouldn't pass at 534 though. I can play UT at 534 but 2001 will artifact. Also, I screwed with the core, I started getting very minor artifacts at 245, so 243 is my limit on the core. 243/530, a minor Ti500 overclock :D
I run 3dMark2001 with all the settings so the visual quality is good and the performance is not so good. I turned it to max perforamnce and it looked like crap. I'd rather get a lower score than have a score generated by drawing crap.
EDIT: My 3dMark2001 score at 220/530 was 5695. I'll run at 243/530 right now.
Update: It crashed in 2001 at 243. I'm too lazy to try at 240 right now. I know 235 works as I ran a loop at that just to make sure earlier today. I got very minor artifacts in 2001 at 235 but it stayed alive until I got bored after 30 minutes. So even if it isn't stable at 240, 235/530 is an incredible overclock IMO.
yeah boy, also got the best-buy deal but haven't had a chance to overclock yet...............but since i am going to build a new AMD system, can patiently wait - hope to see #s like those previously listed..............
great overclock even if you can't get 240/ 530 you still have a great card at 235/530! which drivers you running? xp or 98SE?
got 210/440 stable as could be for a 6376 score at 1024x768 and 32bit.
the people with scores around 10,000 are running at 640x480x16bit! cheaters! I am sure I can go higher.

Highest I can get mine is 220/440. Think I should bring it back when they get it in stock and exchange it? At 240 I was getting quite a bit of artifacting. Let me know what you guys think. and at 450, the same thing was happening. Thanks for any input

Windows XP 22.80 all the way! I think I got damn lucky. I'm afraid if I take off the RAMsinks I won't get them back on so I won't know what ns memory is has but it seems like my memory must be 5ns or better.
I agree must be 4ns ram in there.
got mine to 210/460 with no problems only 6586 on 3dmark 2001 might have to cheat myself cuz I want 10,000!!!
updated drivers to 22.80 in xp also!
Popped the heatsinks off both of these cards. One has Etrontech -5 ram and the card overclocks to 215/515 with stock cooling, looped 3dMark for 12 hrs. The other has Hynix -5 ram and it's only stable at 220/460.
great info I hope I have the good stuff! any other info on the cards to identify them so I can tell if I have the good ram or the poor performing ram?

Wow, looks like you got an extremely good card also. Seems like you either get a good overclock or a great one but everyone still gets and overclock!

Glad to hear your happy with your card. Good overclcok, but get onto 3D Mark 2001. unfortunately score will be around half of 12000 which is still awesome...

just wondering if theres a way to tell the ram w/o taking the HS off. and also has anyone else pulled the hs's off what woud be a good way to get them back on if you do? I'm thinking of taking mine back to BB and seeing if I can get a new one. mine can't get over 223 w/o artifacting, and the mem won't do over 450, I know its not that bad, but I might as well go all out=)
Max Payne is a pain giving me problems at 220/470 Hall of mirror and pops so highest I can go is 210/470.

How are you guys getting your mem over 500MHz? That is the most it will go in the cool bits and powerstrip. What are you doing to get the option of going higher than 220/500. My MSI 200Ti has made it this far with no problems and I want to go higher.

Well, pretty close... 3DMark2001 gives me 7697, with all the tweaks on memory and such. I think a lot of the credit for the really high scores go to my system, running at 1727 MHz, with a 150 FSB. That alone bumped my scores a LOT higher. Memory throughput seems to be key to 3DM2K and 3DM2K1 scores...
I don't have a website to store image on, or I'd post some screengrabs for ya. Any suggestions for free web-storage sites??

I'm using GEFORCE Tweaker v3.1.0.67, which allows free-form entries of the clock speed - and saving of the setting as "default" values. Interestingly, it transfers the values to the settings in the regular "display settings/Advanced/GEFORCE/additional properties/clock frequencies" tab - which was limited to I think 220/500.
In any case, this is the absolute highest it will go - a bump to 260 core or 560 ram causes immediate artifacting, even on the desktop. But it works PERFECTLY at 255/555!
Gads, what a card this has turned out to be...!

hehe ,I sent my woman to bestbuy to get me one ,got her up at 4 A.M just so they would be sold out of there 25 by 5 min after 7 ,I was so heartbroke I went next door to circuit city and gave 200.00 for a PNY gf3 ti 200 ,yeah I could have gotton it cheaper but I didnt care.My 3d mark 2k1 score is 7618 at 1024X768 @32 bit ,so I am happy ,I have got to say this is the best looking video card physically I have ever seen ,and it has a lifetime warranty so I can push it till it pushes me back lol.

a friend of mine(wildone) also got that card and is very impressed with it, he has itt at liek 245/460 and it is like 7090 3dmarks in a stock run.....glad yall are happy about it

I seem to be lucky. I missed the deal for the 99 doollar card on FRIDAY but for the next week my best buy has an xtasy geforce 3 ti 200 for $99 LoL this is so sweet.

Ok, am I stupid and missing somthing. I got one at BB on friday and replaced my GF2mx400. Now everytime my computer hibernates It wont come back on without a reboot. The weird thing is I use VNC to check from a different computer and it is running just fine. The screen won't show up even if I start running programs using VNC. Any Help would be appreciated.

I haven't tried Direct X with this card in UT(is direct x even an option that was hardware access). but I will tonight and see if it looks better. all I can say is no jaggy lines at all in GL with quinx AA. I am very impressed. I'll have to check out direct X. I am a glide person with all voodoos this nvidai stuff is new to me.

Good ques, I was wondering the same about the mem and the core, mine only goes up to 220.

If you still have the MSI drivers CD, install the 3d! Turbo 2001 utility. It has a overclocker tool that let you oc the mem and core higher then CoolBits.
