yea the tulatin takes like 27watts and 48 amperes? A ampere is a amp righ? WOW thats a hell of a lot of power!! i remember last year in 8th grade in art class the kiln for the clay drying took 39 amps of electricity and it had cabel coming in that were 1 inch thick. why doest the cpu have that then?

I think the CPU power consumption is in milli amps, a very tiny % of a whole amp ;)... most houses don't run that many amps for the entire electrical system...

the wattage sounds accurate though.....nort much when you thinkm about using a 300W psu...

An amp at 220 volts for the kiln is WAY more wattage than an amp at 3.3 volts for a CPU. amps*volts=watts, so 40 amps at 3.3v is not a whole lot compared to 4 amps at 220 volts. Wattage is what to look at more often than not. Hope this clears things up.
