I know that I can't overclock to 1400 cause I need 1.85Vcore, and my PSU can't handle it. But if I run the computer faster than the current 1330 (140x9.5) w/ 1.8Vcore it wont boot at all. When on 1.85 it boots, and it would boot with the defualt.
What could be the problem?

If I am understanding you, it would just seem that you need the higher vcore (1.85) to get it to boot at 1330, and when you clock it too high (1400), even the higher vcore won't be enough...

That is my take.

the psu has a big part to play in recent amd overclocking. if you have a weak psu, it will cause all sorts of problems. what psu are you currently using?

flounder43>> at 1400 MHz my computer is very stable though the 5V line is at 4.83Max. at full load...
I'm going to get a 200W AT PSU and try to connect it to a 12V relay and connect all the fans & drives to it

proze>> I'm not sure cause there is no sticker on the PSU, but my guess is no more than 300W.
and I'm selling my old comp and getting Duron 800 instead w/ A7V-133 mobo, what is the Vcore ur runing ur Duron?

your 5v line looks a bit low. i know i couldn't clock my tbird over 1.406ghz until i got a new psu, and now it's at over 1.5ghz! if you can borrow a nicer psu from a mate, then try that.

my duron's running at 1.94v. the voltage mod on the a7v didn't help it get any higher. so it's just on the 1.85v setting on the a7v, which gives 1.94v out. seems to be at its limit, but it's been there for a year and a half now! :D it was the quickest duron around for quite a while! :D
