Bios update on 6800GT

Im trying to update my bios on my video card and it is not working for me. im trying to follow this http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=785299

i open cmd and do the commands and it says unknow command. what am i doing wrong?

nvflash and the bios are on my desktop.

i open dos *cmd*
type cd desktop
cd nvflash422 thats the folder
then in the folder theres nvflash and the bios.
im guessing im doing it right so far

then it says type the command nvflash442 -b mybios.rom and it doesnt work.

Don't you have to do it before windows has started?

this is telling me to do it in windows.

i've done this same method, you _must_ reboot and flash in pure dos mode. matter of fact, the utilities need to be copied to a floppy disk which has been made into a windows boot disk.
