Wierd Problem

Ok, so I went to bed last night, and had a torrent running (uTorrent), Photoshop, Firefox, WEBrick (Ruby on Rails), Samurize, as well as several smaller programs (aim, msn, things like that) open. Nothing out of the ordinary. I wake up this morning, and my computer is freaking out. People are dying. Most of my windows are white, I have dialogs that are saying there are not enough system resources, my wireless connection has freaked out and dropped itself. This never happened the whole.....month, month and a half I was booted into Linux.

Does anybody have a clue as to what could of caused this?
