Is anyone getting these WUs? EMIII reads unknown on the point value, it looks like it's working through it quickly.

If you've got that on your X2 expect 500ppd+ per instance (with your OC of course). ;)
How did you obtain it? -advmethods? I've been seeing plenty of Ribos... but no 364pt WUs in quite some time.
p1497 was announced as a beta WU today but it appears they have escaped into the wild due to an incorrectly set Work server. Enjoy them while they're out there.

My Sempy 3100+ picked up two of them.........about 27 hours ETA. (2.45ghz).

TidyBowl,
Tis a bit hard to see how you wouldn't be happy with 220 ppd on a machine, in use, that makes 120 ppd on a single instance of regular WUs when idle. p1495 and p1497 are the best WUs out there, ATM.

Again... how are you guys landing these? Must be -advmethods b/c I'm not running -adv on any of my rigs ATM. Can anyone confirm? I assume bigpackets is also a requirement.
yes you need advmethods ... they were released (by mistake) to advmethods, but since they appear to be stable they seem to have been left there. So everyone gets a bite of the feast :)
Although my farm is so swamped in 5 way melts ( 12 at last count ) that the 1497's may be gone before i finish melting. ... it would be nice if i could throw them on a gpu to clear up the backlog.

Sweet! I'll see if I can land some tonight. I'm not really complaining though since I've been chomping on Ribos for weeks now.
Thanks pete!

I landed one of these when the -advmethods is on. My observation is it is off if you want the ribo 600's but on for the tet 364's. Both with bigpackets=on

I haven't gotten any yet but I'm getting insane ppd from the 1495's:D
i have a p773 on my x2 3800 givin me 600 points in 8 hours.
I just thought the name was incredibly funny.
Interesting, looking at the thread they seem to favor high end processors (C2Ds, A64s)

They like a larger L2 cache, combined with good memory bandwidth.
A Conroe can make over 2k ppd with these wu's if you could get a steady diet of them.
And yeah, I love the names too. :D

It shortened up to 30 hours on the P4 3.0GHZ.
Must of been a glitch or a slow frame.

I let it pass at the time but there is no way. 40ppd/GHz/core on Intel netbusts, 55/ppd/GHz/core on A64s, and 70ppd/GHz/core on C2D.
600 points in 8 hours on p773 would take a 33GHz A64.
But 44 points in 8 hours is pretty close.

LOL, Stanford should have known that the name "tethered vesicles" was going
to be mutilated horribly! ;) ;) ;)

I just checked the serverstats page and server 128 is in reject mode for some reason and isn't sending any of these 1495 new_tits and 1497 feathered_testicals out. :(
I just tried to go on the community website too and it seems to be down also. I get nothing but a blank page on it. :(

The FCF site has been under a DOS attack for a few days, connectivity has been intermittant. Try again later, or login using a cached copy of FCF from a Google search.
P.S. Feathered Testicles, huh? Never seen Chicken Balls before... ;)

Hey 7im, have you seen anything posted there about what happened to server 128? I have a couple of wu's hung in queue for it that finished this afternoon and evidently 128 must really be fubar now. And I guess the collection server must not have a record of the wu's either. I'm presently trying to manually send a queued wu in right now, but 128 immediately pukes.

No mention of what exactly happened, but kasson said he had fixed it yesterday late afternoon.
