q3a commands

what are the benchmarking commands for q3a? cuz i just modded my video card and i wanna stress it to see how high i can oc it but i dont know the quake 3 commands to do the stress test timedemo thing :)

to view your fps type in console:
/cg_drawfps 1

to set your fps limit to 500:
com_maxfps 500

btw, you're the third person to ask this same question today. Try to first browse through some of the threads before you ask a question that people might have already answered :D

um.. no im not the 3rd person. im not asking how to see your fps in q3a :p, im asking for the timedemo commands. you know the ones the reviewers use to do benchmarks on q3a on videocards?
im new to the commands in q3 so yeah
i just want to let a timedemo run to see if my vid card is stable so i dont gotta sit there and play for 30 min to get the same result :p

jesus, IM NOT ASKING FOR THE FIRGGIN COMMANDS TO SEE THE FPS!!!
im asking for the benchmarking/timedemo commands that the reviewers use to find the average fps of a videocard over a timedemo, its also used as a stress test for the video card
once again since it wasnt clear the first time, IM NOT ASKING FOR THE COMMAND TO SEE THE FPS :p

btw, bigred, you need to hit the " ~ " key to bring down the menu to type the commands - don't know if you knew that or not........then type the command lines.............

dont forget the / in front of the commands, otherwise q3 just thinks its a msg

from the main Quake 3 screen, it doesn't matter. In game it does.

Its just that this is on the forums about 3 times a week, and most people want/need the commands anyways, so why not sticky it? I guess I'm just grouchy. I didn't mean any offence.
