hello all,

my problem, I can't pass 1.5GHZ on my xp1500+ (1.33) regardless of changing the fsb or the multiplier.

here are the stable settings on my system:
@10 X 148fsb
@10.5 X 142fsb
@11 X 136fsb
@11.5 X 130fsb
@12 wont boot up (haven't try 12 x 110fsb)

All @ constant ram volt=2.65 ; I/O volt=3.5
core volt=1.825-max(1.85)
temps: idle=41C maxload=47C

do i need to upgrade my PS? RAM? bios that support higher volt core? cooling?

any suggestions???

RAISE YOUR VCORE!!!!
If your oc'ing the cpu raise the vcore, the fsb raise the vmem and the vio/ whatever it is!!!
How hogh can your mem and vio setting go and what is there deafult out of interest.?
Sorry its short but i'm in a rush!!!

Have you tried a FSB higher than 148 mhz ?

What tempratures and hsf do you have?

Its possible that you got the max. speed with 1.85Vcore. U can do a volt mod to ur mobo and up the Vcore some more to get higher than 1.5GHz stable.

Here's a little link (http://forums.overclockers.ws/cgi-bin/adcycle.cgi?gid=1&t=_blank&id=1375&type=iframe) that might help you out if haven't memorized the voltage mod for your mobo. Make sure and read through the whole thread. It's better to to take 5 hours to do something correctly than to take 1 hour to kill your mobo, IMHO.
