Hello everyone
I have started recently to fold for Team32 as Team32_FeuerFrei
The thing is, I recived many WUs that ended with NAN or EARLY_UNIT_END.
Then, I wondered if my comppy was still stable. I ran my complete benchmark test without any problem (12 hours OCCT, 12 hours prime95, 6hours memtest, 6 hours of looping 3dMark2k5) and I saw no problem at all. What is wrong?
The rig is not likely stable enuogh for folding then. Some Wu's stress more than others, and fluctuating ambients can cause temporary problems.
My usual reaction to recurring EUE's on my intel rigs is to back off the fsb by 5. If ambient temps get problematic for long periods like last july here, i backed of VC and FSB on a few sensitive rigs.
My normal stability test for a folding rig is first PCMARK05 with a score, then several hours of orthos (p95) on rigs that are similar to ones i have already oc'ed and am folding on.
On a new rig with a lots of components I am not familiar with, i will ususlly fold them in 'safe' mode for a day or 2 after initial stability testing.
Here is a post that describes the safe folding technique i use http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=4631951&postcount=15
If you are already getting repeating EUE's, then reduce oc's, or up VC/vddr if your temps are good and retest. Presumably your current OC was at/near the limits you are comfortable with temp wize, so you will likely need to go the route of reducing OC of cpu and/or mem.
I have no AMD OC experience, so this is just general advice based on my intel experience.
Good Luck, and :welcome: to T32 Folding :)
/edit just looked at your stats, judging by # of wu's and points, I am guessing every wu your machine has folded has failed
So definitiely stop normal folding on it and try my safe folding method after you adjust your OC.
Turning in a lot of EUE's is counterproductive since each will get reassigned by stanford to several other machines ... and since WU's are part of a series, the next one in the series cannot be generated and assigned to a rig until all the machines that were assigned the EUE'ed wu return their results.

thx!
Went from 1.5/2.7 to 1.525/2.8 and it's stable so far (OCCT)
