I have 2x 512 sticks on this Dell pc, but it doesnt say what brand or what speeds on the sticks.
I want to buy 2x more 512 sticks and run dual channel? How would I know which ones to buy?

Mm probably, but chances are you're already running dual channel since you have two sticks of ram. Why do you think you're not?

You should be ok getting some decent additional ram like corsair and just pooping it in but Dells can be wierd with compatibility so don't hold me to that.

And :welcome: to the forum.

Can someone tell me the manufacturer of my mem chips?
The brand is Transcend 512M DDR2 667 -5-5-5
The numbers on the chips are, from top to bottom
Large Print: JetRam
J12Q3AB-6
Small Print: T0617PF
Smaller Print:TAN961-C93G
Any help much appreciated want to clock at 800 if possible,
I believe they run at 1.8-1.9 volts

EDIT: JetRam is on the PCB, can't find any info on these #'s on Transcend website. Also, these are single side, on back side has:BP MLL E186014
below that:B62URCD 1.00
