I decided the other day that the water I had in my system was too grimey. (I have a jug of extra water and it has crap floating in it, so I figured) I pulled my system apart and got the guts to take apart my blocks. I found that in my apogee was a large goo ball of assorted materials. (How did hair get in to my loop?) So I cleaned that all out, including my maze4. I got some new water and mixed up some 1:5 antifreeze mix. I pieced my system back together and added a new 120mm fan to my radiator. Now for some reason, my temps have gone up. Before, my idle was about 29~30 and peaked at 38~40.
Now, my idle is 31~32 and peaks at 43~44

That is strange. I have upped the % of anti-freeze in my loop (from about 10% to 20%) and noticed no noticeable change in temperature. Maybe you did not reseat the waterblock properly? If you are using AS5 people say that needs to "cure" too.

Let the as5 cure, it should be back to normal.

People-
THE CURING OF AS5 DOES NOT DROP TEMPS OVER 5C. Generally it drops temps 2C.
Check the rad to see if it's warm. Flush components out again, remount block... Is the pump running? Loop fully bled?

Yes, the pump is on and the loop is fully bled.
I just thought of this, though. When I took the block apart I didn't take notice of the orientation of the fins to the flow of water. Perhaps I put the block together sideways and it is impeding the flow? Also, I think it is the mount, I am going to take everything apart again and do it again.

You should read his post and do the simple math involved. There is a 2-4 degree difference in original temps, not 5. I agree though he should remount the block and see if that helps. Tearing it all down and flushing and remounting might fix it.

Good call... I just kinda skimmed it and say 38C before and 44C after and just went nuts.
