iPanels?

Have you all heard of the iPanel (http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1300311948) by Asus? It looks like fun, but I want to make sure that it's not a total POS before I decide to buy one or not. I've got an A7M266 mobo, so compatability isn't an issue.
BTW, I don't mean this to be advertizing. eBay just happened to have the best description.

But my mobo isn't not supported (A7V-133C)? And I don't have the extra cash, but its really cool, & now u don't even have to run MBMs & stuff all the time!

Note also how inflated this ebay price is. Retail on this ipanel is $19.99 according to the reviews that I have read. That is the bid right now, and the "buy now price" is $27.99!!!! Plus, they want $12 shipping!!!!:mad:

my friend has one,he ended up tossing it and getting a digital doc 5,he said it was way inaccurate and would mess up all the time on him.I was going to get an ipanel too when i first got this asus board.

Did you people who are flaming the iPanel know about the mods to fix it here (http://www.jimhearne.co.uk/ipanel/)?
I'm not saying anything as to whether it's good or trash, I just want a balanced and logical view.
BTW flounder, on eBay I found one iPanel for at least US$20, and I didn't see any that were bid on. The shipping is outrageous, though. With eBay, it really depends on what you want to get.
If I want one, I'll go with pricewatch.com.
