I want to upgrade to Core 2 Duo, however I have 4 PATA hdd, 1 pata dvd+-rw, cdrw and AGP Geforice 6800. So I thought this board might be better for me for now then the DS3 (I'm going to wait until prices on ddr2 and DS3 to drop)

Would my current ram work for Core 2 Duo E6400 ? Highest I've got my ram to run was 203MHZ, But I noticed the E6400 requires 266x8...

if you not ocing, the board will be fine... plus the board will have downward dividers for ddr making the ram run slower then 266mhz fsb.
