View Full Version : Ultra HLE? (the N64 emulator)
Has anyone gotten this emulator to work on a "current" machine. I remember it worked pretty well back on my PII-400 & RivaTNT, but I'm not sure if there's a glide wrapper current enought to work with a GeForce3.
The program will run (as in doesn't give an error), but never actually does anything or ever shows up on the screen. Anyone know any little tricks I might be missing here?

That's considered warez, which is bad. Don't Steal Games.
Well in that case don't worry about it. It's just that my N64 died recently and I was looking for a way to play a couple of the games. Oh well.

OK I don't think this is warez related cuz it's in retrospect so I'm posting it. Do you remember those old cartridge copiers? EEPROM burners that could write to super-nes cartridges so you could download games and burn them to blank carts? I always wanted one of those things!

It's not exactly warez, but it's grey. Emulators are only to be used if you own the game. We have no way of telling if you do or don't, just like copying games. We can't tell if it is indeed warez, but we also can't tell if it's legal
Right. I wasn't asking where to get games or anything, I was just wondering if the program would run on current hardware. If that program isn't legal then don't worry about it, I didn't know.

ACTUALLY, according to the Big N, they don't even allow you to have a "backup copy" (read: ROM) of a game, even if you own the original. It's all a matter of the End User Agreement, or their copyright.
