will this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145044 work with the asus crosshair? toms hardware reviewed the ram and has it pictured on the board but i wanted to get so actual advising on this.

Looking at the Asus Crosshair, it seems to support only DDR2 800Mhz max speed, and the RAM you are looking at is DDR2 1111 (PC2 8888), I suppose the RAM won't run at it's max speed.

well i was lookin at these for overclocking...i def would not run these on stock settings

i`m going with this http://www.tankguys.biz/ddr2-55515-1000mhz-p-1647.html?osCsid=5915098a61d1d2bdb53c89d2df6fe20a on my crosshair --the guy at tank guy`s told me it would work and in stock --p.s. i will have the m/b in 5 days so i will test then

I understand that, but the RAM wouldn't even get to it's stock settings to begin with. So you would have to start further down than stock clocks.
