Any help is appreciated at all, i really need to get this fixed ASAP

As for my problem... iv had this happening http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=480049 for a few weeks now... Every now and then, just overnight, so it wasnt bothering me that much and i didnt have time to try to fix it. Well, the other day windows went friggin crazy on me, hard crashes, wouldnt boot up, wouldnt do anything, until i left it alone for like, 4 minutes, and it worked fine for a few days

Untill today

I was rendering video when i went downstairs to watch some TV. I came back, and i got that message on the windows load screen. So, i did chkdsk, scanned my registry, and tried the sfc /scannow . I got an error during the scannow saying to abort something or retry, so i retried it to no avail, aborted it, and then windows locked up and crashed on me. I rebooted but couldnt get into windows. It would have the Windows logo, then the loading bar in the black screen when you turn on your computer, and then i would see a real quick flash of blue screen of death, and then it would restart.

So i did a windows repair from the CD and reinstalled windows (but kept my files), and that didnt help at all

And then i chose "Boot with last settings that worked" or whatever, and then i boot up into windows in 640 by 480 resolution, and in 4 bit color mode.

*I typed all of that last night and forgot to post it, i woke my monitor up and now all i see is black and white with pinstripes down the street and its very ugly.

Im posting this in the Windows section and in the Nvidia section because i dont know if this is a windows or a video card problem, or something else.

Thanks

Update* Dont know if its coincidence, or i fixed something, but while in 640x480 with 4bit color, i resintalled nvidia drivers, and its working now. Hmm.
