New cruncher added to my farm/team.

I just added an e6400 to my small farm. Its sole purpose is to crunch 24/7. The comp is sitting out in my garage, float pointing away. I tried to spend as little as possible on this computer. I used spare parts, old HDD, only 512 RAM, old monitor, and an old case. This thing doesn't just crunch, it "Crushes!" In just over a day it has crunched more WU's than my other computers have crunched in a week. These Core2 Duo's are amazing. :)

Yeah my single rig doing seti has me around 9th or 10th in RAC. Mildly overclocked Core 2 ftw =)

Thats great news wish i could afford a Core 2 Duo. But maybe when quad core arrives:drool:

Thanks guys. I built my rig using the components that were suggested in this forum. Without your help, I wouldn't have known where to start.

And yes, those Quad Cores do look promising. Hopefully, they will bring the price of the Core 2 Duo's down even more.
