Ok, I just tried to use HP's help thinga do. But wadda ya know, it decided to lose all the info I put in right after hitting submit. So I'm here.
Model is a RX3417 (same as RX3715 only with half the ram.)
What it does (has done 3 times now, all the same thing has happened, once playing music while on a car charger, once while surfing the net, and once while just sitting on charge) The screen fades to white in stripes. Sound stops playing. Buttons stop working. Only way to turn it off is with soft reset. Then you can turn it back on til you plug it into a charger and use the soft reset button again. But then when it comes on it has lost everything like in a hard reset.
Anyone know what I can do. At the moment I have to revert back to a backup (which I guess if I used the backup tool more then once a month might not be so bad.) Do I just put up with it? Last time it crashed I was 200 miles away from home driving alone and had no other form of music! :bang head :mad:
