Monitor Question(s)...

I just wounder if anyone know for how long a monitor can be ON and not get a so called ( burned image on the screen ).

If u understand me.

And another question, i have a good monitor Samsung Syncmaster 1200NF 22", and wish to know if 50hz refresh rate can damage the monitor.

If i would like to have dual view, Tv (Pal) and monitor att the same time, the monitors refresh rate has to be at 50hz.

Or would the monitor not shift to 50hz if it wasen´t supose to handle it? ( like, "sync out of range" ) or something...

If the monitor came with a manual, it should say what refresh rates the monitor can handle. If it can't handle 50 Hz, I say toss it out, as you'll end up blind.
Don't worry about leaving the monitor on too long. Unless it's an old relic from the early '90s, you don't need to worry about wearing out the screen, although it's good to turn it off to save energy and to make sure that it doesn't overheat.
