Well, I got my box at launch, and just today (24th) I went to my friends, and networked with his xbox. Played Halo, 3 people, whatever, it's not important. The important part was that it was fun, but a real pain in the ass to lug over my box to hiis house to play. I got to thinking......
Im running a home network, which i can plug my xobx into. Im wondering, if my friend plugs his box into his home network, would a vpn connection between the two networks be enough to get them to communicate? I have gotten him to connect to my network via vpn on xp, but that was a long time ago, and im not sure how successful the connection was, so i cant really do much in the way of testing my theory out.
Think it might fly? Or would the idea just not work.
