PCI-E Ports Will They Phase Out PCI Ports Completly

Since graphics has moved from PCI >> AGP >> PCI-E and now PhysX cards now have a PCI-E form (Ageia announced it last week) as well as PCI. Will sounds card take advantage of this form soon as well as storage, USB/FireWire port expanders etc.

PCI-E 2 would be widening a road from 4 lanes to 8 lanes, but still only 4 cars use it at once.

Or if that's not geared right for ya... PCI-E x16 isn't saturated now. What would be the point of PCI-E 2?
