My mom and I were walking through a computer store today, and she was talking about water cooling my computer, and how dangerous it is, she said "what if you ruin your processor?" so I told her, "well then buy me a processor to test stuff out on." She said sure. Althougth she didnt buy it while we were in the store, she still said yes. SWEET DEAL. I am going to try and get an AMD XP processor, and due all my water cooling testing on my TB 1.3.

If you haven't got money to toss around but still want something to test your watercooling/whatever on, you can get a Duron 750 for about US$36 shipped on pricewatch.
Durons are ideal for this kind of thing because most of them (I don't know about the ones above 950 w/ the morgan core) can take a brutal beating and continue running with no problem (mine runs fine with a crushed side and I've heard of people whose cores have all four corners chipped off and still run no problems).
I'm sure most moms would spring for that.

My mom wont give me anything.. I have to give her $200 a month for rent and pay all my own bills. But i guess what being 18 means. I have a duron 600 that i use for all my testing. I also have 4 dead athlon 1.4ghz chips that i killed to mess around with to.
