well you could always fabricate the backplane and mounting clips!

Shouldnt be too awfully hard to do with arylic, foam and allthread.

someone bought it and it came with full accesories, and if i know newegg, most of the time it does... i'm just gonna take a chance with them. i've order alot of refurb items and they've always came with acessories. the other thing is, it's very rare for people to shop at newegg and return items with missing acessories. just think about it, chances of someone returning and item with missing part is kidda rare, it's even rarer with a tech store + online like newegg.

Yeah you're pretty safe on this one. Anything refurb/open box that I've got from Newegg/Chiefvalue has had all the accessories. And even if this doesn't, for $5 tops you can make a mount similar to what you see on waterblocks.

there's about 4 post with the exact same product from newegg labled (refurb, OEM, open box ect...) just do a search for big typhoon in the cyber deal forum... totaling of about 100 post, with about 20 people admiting they have all the stuff when the product came... if u wait it'll go up in price, i've been watching this thing for a while now, i waited for free shiping to get it.

I bought one and it came with all accessories, the base looked perfect (No scratches or even signs of use) There were some minor scratches on the fins, but it still looks almost as good as new.

Definitely a great deal!

yea usually open box heatsink come with everything well at least for me they do :)

oh well, I recieved the HSF today. and its missing the mounting brackets and the standoffs and the screws. basically everything to mount it. I really don't think they checked to see if it had any of the mounting brackets at all, b/c all it had were just 1 small H clip and 4 screws....sucks. Can the mounting hardware be purchased by itself??

dang, i guess i lucked out lol.... but the mounting hardware u can actually make it out of acrylic or any other stiff material. it's basically an I shape steel bar. it took a while to mount it on my S478 P4... the mounting was too big and it was hitting capaciter everywhere. i just took my dremel and shave it off... that's too bad dude. i don't think it's worth it to make your own mounting cuzz it'll just cost more money. i would just email TT and ask them for it.

yeah thats what I did, I emailed TT to see if they'll send me the hardware i need. I always have bad luck when it comes to things like this.
