So I was checking over some various tech sites and came across an xbitlabs.com memory voerclocking article. I always enjoy their articles, they are indepth and informative and the rough english is actually good in a way  I especially like the way they do RAM reviews. Anyway they had a DDR2-800 overclocking article and I was VERY surprised to see what they said about the G Skills. Has G.Skill changed ICs on us with no revision change? I absolutely hate when RAM makers do that, it makes finding the good modules doubly hard. So anyone who has really recently gotten some GSkill 800MHz HZ's care to report?

When did they aquire the ram for the review?
It was posted on XS that they swiched from Elpida to Micron for these quite some time ago, if there set is older that would explain it.
And how recently are you asking? ALOT of people are running this ram and its performing MUCH better then the ones reviewed.

Well it's a new article not an old one that's why I posted it. It's possible they've had the memory for a while or it was an early sample, but knowing how everyone says they are D9s and does get good oc's out of them I was surprised.

Ah yea I see some people saying that in the article comments too. So I guess this is a false alarm :)

Yea I noticed that the review was from the 16th, It would be nice if someone could get when they aquired the ram out of the reviewer.
