hey guys,

point me to the thread if my question has been answered already, but right now i've got 2x1gb of the Corsair TwinXMS pc5400, 4-4-4-12. its ddr2 at 667mhz but i need to get it up to ddr2 800...what vDIMM value am i looking at?

Check to see what v.dimm they are at currently in your bios. They may be under volted at the moment.

2.2v dimm would be the max w/o cooling. If you can put a fan blowing air on them then 2.4 vdimm.

You could also try 5-5-5-15 for even higher clocks.

:welcome:
From my experiance with DDR2 you might get near 800 at 4-6-5-15 at 2.0V-2.1V with a good PSU. I've gotten the G-Skill 800-CL5s to run at DDR840 @ 4-6-5-15. I currently have it at DDR866 on 5-5-5-15 CMD2. Yield is 8020Mbs.
