Most that understand why they would want to know what ICs are on their modules are most likely capable of finding that thread themselves. Those that are clueless, probably will remain so. That being said, might as well post this too: How To Read the Memory Label

Good call, like you I figure anyone here who cares enough to know what ICs they have can read the label well enough ;) That list just reinforces why I don't consider Corsair any more for performance memory, there's just way too many IC changes and it almost always tends to go 'early versions = good ICs, later ones = worse.' They claim they don't do it that way intentionally but it just seems shady to me, almost like they just want to get a good buzz going based on the early ones and then let that reputation ride. I expect lots of IC changes on value Ram but it's just too frustrating to pay for premium non-value Ram and still gamble on ICs.
