Hello all, I am in the process of upgrading my pc.. I have been out of the pc mod loop for the last year or so.. Here is my current setup...

PIII 700 OC'ed 998
256 mb PC133
Asus GF2 graphics card
CUSL-2 mobo
SB Live sound card
72w peltier

I am looking to upgrade to a T-Bird 1.4 or P4 1.5+ CPU.. I haven't a clue as to what the latest and greatest CPU/mobo combos are.. Please give me some input/suggestions as to what you think are good CPU/mobo combos..

Any advice, flames are welcome!

Thanks in advance! HF

Moved Post to General Hardware

Athlon XP, Epox 8kHA+(or whichever has the 266a chipset), and a Millenium Glaciator 2 to cool it.

the epox 8kHA+ is the one with the 266a chipset and is also a great ocing board, all of epox's boards are :). Im thinking about buying one to replace my (supposedly, no confirmation yet) bad FIC mobo.

Just remember you'll need a very good HSF with it.. I recommend the SK-6 and there have been conflicts with Enermax PSU's with Epox boards so get another brand and get AMD CERTIFIED... 400w or 350w is what I'd recommend and

Epox 8kha+ is a very good overclocking board for those AMD.
