HELP!!!!!!

I was just about to install win2k, and the install program said that i needed to update a few drivers/programs to the win2k version. Most of it went off without a hitch, but i have as of yet been un able to locate the driver for my "Shuttle EPAT External ATAPI Adapter", i am currently running win98se, and i cannot find the win2k update for this program, can anyone help????????

IS IT A MUST THAT I DOWNLOAD THE WIN2K DRIVERS??? WILL THE BURNER WORK FINE WITH OUT THE NEW DRIVERS???

this isn't really a soultuin but when i was running win xp it would not install the VIA drivers for my shuttle at all. no matter what i did, oo well i fried the board.
