Router recommandation

Hi guys!

This is going to be my very first time delving in netowrking and I need
some input on which router to get.

I'm looking to setup a network for 2 computers. This is the router I'm
currently looking to get:

Is it a good one? Any known issues?

If you have better suggestions please share them. I'm looking for
something simple to setup. My budget is around $50 CAD.

I assume you are going to attach an internet connection to this router and have it act as a firewall? Routers like the Dlink or Linksys have limited ability to act as firewalls. Some rules can be made to block or forward traffic but they are not what I consider to be great for firewall use.

How exactly do you want to setup this small network?

Just like you described. Connect the Internet cable to it and both PCs.

The 2nd PC is my mom's. I just want her to have easy access to the web
to check her mail and do some surfing.
