So this game got released today for PC, xbox360 and PS2...does anyone have it yet...would love to hear what you think. I was thinking of picking it up today but this is a real busy week for me so I might just wait for some reviews or user input first.

Lol.. looks like not many people like getting brand new games :)
Is there a demo though? I've never heard of it.

I played the trial version that they have on Xbox360 and it's an decent game. Servers are little slow and go down every now and then, but I'm sure that they have fixed that problem by now.

Ok my initial impression is that this game is fun. I got a late start playing it, for some reason even though my latpop had directx 9c installed...it wouldn;t work until I installed the 9c off the games DVD.:bang head But then it worked like a charm. I played with graphics settings a bunch and video card settings because I was running it out of my s-cable into my HDTV, it's a very console like game so I kind of wanted to run it that way. Also Im using a Saitek gamepad...it maps very well. I only played story mode...and it's changed alot since the other phantasy stars. There's voice acting and cut scenes...kind of reminded me of a kingdom hearts type of presentation. Anyway while your in game they still use the classic comic bubbles for dialog so old fans will like that. The fighting is just like the old one...but the stronger attack can hit multiple enemies and is alot flashier looking. You can also dual wield with some weapons, like a saber and pistol. Once I get to play more tomorrow I'll post again but this game seems to be totaly worth the money so far. Im running this max graphic detail @ 1024x768, seemed to run fine on my laptop (see sig) although I did notice alittle slow down at a point were alot of enemies were on screen. so I might tweek it alittle...could have been heat too my laptop gets very hot sometimes in games. So far my take is if you liked Phantasy Star Online I and II you'll like this one.
i played pso on dreamcast (multiplayer).... boy does that take me back...

So did I, thats why I was kind of excited for this game. I used to have the Dreamcast keyboard...sit it right on the floor...good old dial up. PSO is still probably one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences, along with Ocarnia of Time.

Wait, like the original old-school, played all summer between 6th and 7th, then again between 7th and 8th grades, most awesomest nearly 20 year old games?
Are you saying it lives up to the expectations of, IMHO, the two best console games ever? PSIII sucked, PS IV ranks under PSII.
Seriously?
Your not BSing here are you?
(I still have my original PS, PSII, and PSIV games) :bday:

sorry, I fondly remember the days when I played this game for hours, and dream of going to the Algo Star system. Man, I was going to get this game if it was even slightly related to the originals.
