hmmm not knowing much about this i would say, if you had a motherboard with 2 AGP slots. As far as would it help, i think no. All games and such i know of aren't programmed for allowing 2 graphics cards. Even if it did help it wouldn't be close to enough difference to be worth $700 instead of $350!

no it would not, as Hitman said, it would be very hard to find a board with two agp slots..the last cards that could deal with duallies were the Voodoo2 SLIs....that isnt exactly blazing speed....if you need dual monitor support, get an 8500, if you want crazy performance and dont care how much money you lose go with a Ti500

i dont think they make dual agp boards ( at least not at a price that i can even think about asking for one)
do what i did go to compusa and get a pci 8mb card and a cheapo moniotr
and a really good agp
play the game on the agp and make the second monitor stata and winamp and stuff like that

Yeup crash is right.
Use a PCI card for the second monitor, and an AGP for your main 'gaming' monitor.
Or buy DH.

one draw back i was thinking of is that some games dont like dual monitors
if you move the mouse to far the os thinks its moving it on to moniotr 2 not on the game
so i just disable the second one before going into a game that does this
also some screen savers sucks
but you souldnt be useing screen savers anyway ( oc teams)
