Oh no! I just got a Dreamcast for $50 and a bunch of games and now I think i'm fallinf down the console route. I have a real desire to blow my $400 computer upgrade budget on and Xbox or Gamecube.
My problem is: Should I not abandon my computerin it's half-completed state, or should I go towards the consoles? If so, which one (I'm leaning XBox cause of Shenmue 2)
a good computer will beat out any console any day.:D
my votes for the computer:) DUH:D
The computer all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then get the game console.

Go fer the computer stuff...you can only do so much with a console, and when you're tired of it, you'll wish you had the comp to surf with...I'm still stuck on unreal tourney, Q3A, and I even play quakeII once in a while.
I dunno what the cube is, but I know the xbucks and ps2 is way over priced....the xbucks is a neutered PIII 733 and the os kernel rides on the overpriced cd's. It looks kewl on tv, but with a geforce, and a zippy cpu, you can play games with just as much "reality" as the consoles.
One note though...I have played need for speed High stakes on both my overclocked, machine, and a PS1 and the load times are the same..roughly. That shows that the playstation has a better memory bus.
Though I haven't played it (NFS) since I setup the raid0
Tough choice:rolleyes:
