I saw this on Jab-tech, it looks like it might actually be a good idea compared to most designs for cooling ram. I wonder how it does in real life and if your planning on buying an 8800 I wouldn't be buying this now.

Anyway linky

I saw that to and wondered about it's userfulness. It would be nice to see a review of it. While I'm sure it will lower video RAM temps more than RAM sinks, is it worth the extra flow restriction.

The benefit from that vs ramsinks will be near nothing, you may be able to squeeze out a few extra MHz, but the only real benefit you'll see is lower temps on the ram and in your case. I wouldn't expect flow restriction to be a huge issue, probably as much as a NB block. If you plan on getting one of these in addition to a block for the die, I'd go ahead and buy a full coverage block; it won't be much more than the two combined, and it'll be easier to install, keep flow to the max and limit the amount of tubing/possibilities for leaks.
