Ok I was wondering should I upgrade to Xp or not. Most of the games I have are like Delta Force and The Sims. Will they work with XP. Most everything in my rig is new. Any input would be nice.

Yes they should all work. Win XP is the most stable os I've used.

Maybe I'll install it on my main rig and keep Windows 98S.E. on my back-up rig. You know just in case some games won't play.

Believe me it's the most stable os of all the windows available.
PC runs 24/24 7/7 and haven't had a single problem.
Go 4 it :) It's really worth it

Just do yourself a favor and do a clean install formatted to ntfs, no dual boot crap, that is how you run into problems. XP is really designed for ntfs. You will love it!

well then again it also depends on what kinda hardware u got (ie. vid card). Some ppl have had some much lower fps while playing games like diablo2. As for me, most of the games i play work in xp just fine. :D

From the point of view of someone who supports Xp for a living, if the spec of the system you are planning to use are the ones below your post, I'd give it the 2 thumbs up, just a few things to consider even though it is built on the same kernel as win2k don't be fooled into thinking every driver that works with win2k will work with same goes for progs, but so far I am very impressed with Xp if you have the system resources.
I dont recommend it for any one struggling with 64meg and a 600 celly it will work but painfully.

I've heard that ntfs is slower than FAT32. Is it ? And what's the diference form ntfs to FAT32 ?
