Does anyone have a Leadtek GF3 Ti500 they are overclocking? I just got one because I heard the visual quality is good (and it is) but my overclocking is terrible. The best I can do with good stability is 255/530. I've heard of other people getting insane clocks like 270/570 with other Ti500 cards. I even took off the stock fan and strapped a 8cm case fan to it (which makes it much cooler). My board doesn't allow AGP voltage changes so maybe I'm volt-limited. I tested stability with 3DMark2001 running all the game tests in looping mode for 5 loops - and 255/530 was the highest that would complete that. I've got an AMD 1800+ on a Gigabyte 7VTXE board.
Well I don't got my Leadtek yet or the same mobo but the AGP card runs of the I/O 3.3V rail I think. I got a pretty good O/C for my MX after I increased it. I was doing it for my ram first then I noticed the video card would go higher after that. There is a chance that I am totally wrong;)
175 @ 230 Core
166 @ 205 Memory
My Leadtek GeForce 3 Ti500 is running stable at 250/550. Try backing down the core to 250 and run another test. If it runs, then up the memory to ... From what I've read the core won't go much above 250-260. You should be able to get the memory above 550 with no problems. You should, but you know how that goes. :)
