Capitol region?

You arent in DC and NYC isnt the capitol of NY state..

Besides it is only about a 4 hour at most drive for you, its about 6 for me.

The Albany, Schenectady, and Troy area in upsate New York is referred to (officially) as the "Capital District" (of New York).

It's a local thang... I'm sure every state would/could refer to their capital city and surrounding cities as the capital district for that state...

I never said I was in DC nor NYC for that matter. I'm well aware that NYC is not the capitol of NY, Albany is
