hey guys, i have been trying to change the irqs of my windows xp and i cant. at boot video is set to irq10, sound card is set irq9 along with the modem and the mass storage controller, serial bus cntrller and acpi cntroller are at irq 11. im not sure if thats a good arrangement but everytime windows xp is starts and i check the system information...

EVERYTHING IS ON IRQ11???????!!!!!!!

anyone knows how to fix that?

try not putting your serial bus cntrller and acpi cntroller at irq 11 and put it at something different. Then see id everything goes to that number. I'm not sure how much this can help or if it can at all, but I'm sure others here will help you solve the problem eventually.

Are you getting any freezes, or bsod from the irq settings? You might want to read this thread, it's for win 2k, but similar.

Just change you computer from "acpi compliant computer" to "standard computer" in device manager. Just select "update driver" and choose to view all known drivers. I did it, a lot more stable and one irq to a device.
