I'm using the 92.91 beta drivers for my 6800GT. I'm using 2x 21" monitors, both in 1600x1200.

I've recently noticed that my second screen is behaving...slowly. You know when you've just installed windows and it is using the standard drivers? The way moving a window is very, very slow, jumpy and causes a lot of CPU activity - well that's happening on my secondary screen right now.

When I drag a window around on the secondary monitor it takes a while to draw its new position, it moves jumpily and my CPU usage goes to 100% whilst I'm moving it. If I move things around on my primary screen none of this happens - it moves smooth as silk and there's no extra CPU activity.

Does anyone know what this could be down to? Is it that I'm just using beta drivers? It is the first time I've used them, and I only installed them to see if they would fix my dragging problem as described in the MS operating systems forum.

It's the drivers. Try the 91.47 official release, that should take care of ya.

make sure both screens are same Refresh rate, and try 96.89 drivers instead.
