OK, I set up Rosetta@Home last night. When I got a job and started working on it, I let the BOINC program have 100% of the CPU. After 30 minutes real time of running the program, it said I had only completed 1 minute 30 seconds of CPU Time. What's up with that? I am using the system in my sig, the only other programs running are ZoneAlarm, AVG Antivirus, and Speedfan 4.27 (to show me the CPU Load, which registers as 100%).

try upping the priority rate of BOINC and see if that helps.

I think you go to the rosetta site to your profile and there should be a setting under advanced options(that's where it is on most of my boinc projects) and you can set the cpu usage there. But if it's using 100% and it only says 1.5 minutes there may be a problem or mabye not. Honesly, the seti people know a great deal more about the boinc stuff than I do:beer:

Ahh, someone on the Rosetta website helped me out. I needed to hit the "Run Always" button on the manager.

Well if you decide to give up we have hella other projects! There's a sticky on it in this section. Plus we have a badass folding team that could always use some help:D

Hmm... rebooted computer, it seems to be working again. Very strange.
If it happens again check if some other programs are stealing your CPU cycles. I think there is your problem.
