Hi guys and gals,
I'm trying to improve the cooling ability of my OCZ Dominator cooler by adding a copperplate to the HS/F's base. But know I wonder if I should use my Arctic Silver epoxy or not to bond it together!!!! I know that the Silver particles form a thin layer, like a foil. But my Dominator and the copperplate are lapped and polished, so that they are nearly perfectly plane!! If you know a better way to bond the copperplate to the HS, let me know. I think I would need an adhesive, that is more liquid than Arctic Silver without such "big" particles, so that there's direct contact between the copper and the aluminium, where they're both perfectly plane and the adhesive's only where needed(in the spots where it's not perf. plane).
Thanks in advance
Ingo
