The ramsinks on your card are good ones, maybe remove them and re-apply with Arctic alumina adhesive as the video card manufacturers usually skimp on the thermal paste.

ok thanks, what about the performance though, the heatsink/fan is much smaller than the blorb as are the heatsinks, so are they built to take a high overclock?

The Alpha pal 15 u is 25 millimeters high and 60 mill sqr.

The Blue orb is 15 millimeters high by 50 millimeters X50 mill.

Any rackmount IU cooler will outperform any blue, orange and the crytal orb by a wide margin.

With the Alpha pal 15u on my GPU the backside is barely warm whereas it used to be so hot you could only touch it for a sec or two.

Go to www.overclockingstore.co.uk go to where the Orbs are and at the top of the page there is a copper cooler for £11 Icucle 1C or something that fits perfectly on the cards and cools AMD CPU's up to 1GHZ!!!:D
