Hey I just unlocked my AMD Duron 750 i think.... lol still is running so i think it worked i used a pencil but the highest it will run without frezing up the system is 795mhz I have 2 case fans and an orb cooling my system so i don't think colling is a problem it is at 22 celcus anyone have any ideas?

Unlocking your chip activates the multiplier so you can change it in the bios. Every chip is different and will only overclock to a certain degree. Try to increase your vcore and FSB, if not already doing so! Put you system specs in you sig, so we can help you out more. Welcome!:) Try reading some of the guides on the front page.

My Duron 750 is running smoothly on a ECS K7S5A @1.0 Ghz, by upping the front side bus. I did the pencil trick to up the voltage, but did not need to unlock the multiplier.

What do you have your vcore and I/O voltage settings at. How many watts is you power supply?
