exactly likethat? or you mean just a black face plate
If the latter then google "black face plate"
The former, dont know. Where did you find that pic from that can lead us to the model and possibly an alternative color of the same thing
It has to be this one because the buttons on my CD and DVD are flat and the holes will line up properly.
I cant be bothered takin apart the CD rom to spray paint it... so I thought this would be the next best thing.
I want it black like my U2 UFO. And I would like it made of metal not plastic.

As you can see it kinda looks funny at the moment...
when i type in black face plate into google it give mostly black faceplate for mobile phones and stuff...
I havent found this sort of stuff at frozen CPU which usully stocks everything...

I know a lot of manus now provide a second faceplate in black with the drive or they just come in black to begin with. You are probably going to have better luck just buying a new dvd burner in black or just painting your current one (plus you get mad haxor props for painting it), there are a thousand ways to make a faceplate like that and finding one that fits right is going to be a pita.

Man just take it apart and paint it. It will probly be VERY hard to find to find an exact match, especially if it's older. You make it sound like taking the front faceplate off is a big task.

All of which you lose for running an old Sony drive.
An excellent new (and almost certainly faster) NEC is only $35 or so...and it comes with a black faceplate.
