The Seti team is gearing up for a new team race.Refer to this thread for the start date and other info.

Lets go help them out.During setup from boinc enter this info when attaching project.

Ok barton2500+ is online for alt.dc.support, as soon as Rosetta cache depletes it will start crunching.

So I set BOINC to just do seti and then use the user info above? I'm in for 8ghz of intel powah:D

*Edit: And my BOINC client is 5.4.9 is that the one I should be using? Or is there a seti optimized client thingy I should use?

Well actually the race has yet to begin so if you guys wanna wait until then I suppose you don't have to start now.I started just to get our name on the board.Now that we did I'm going to hold out until the race starts.

my compy is still plugging away on the same dang WU as it was days ago. been teh slowest WU for F@H that i've ever seen.

probably was. it dumped yesterday.... i oughta get my rig over to SETI either tonight or tomorrow... but i'm gonna be busy. my car blew up on interstate again....

It's kind of hard to establish a baseline production level if you hold out till the race starts. Which in turn makes balancing the teams very difficult.

we are gonna get another boost in RAC soon... once i get everything up to date on it... i got a socket a sempron i'm gonna add to the effort.

i'd love to help.. but i don't have the time at home to change things anymore. had to do a total reformat on my system and my wife's (i corrupted my HD with a bad ata cable, hers was just due a reformat)... and i haven't put F@H or BOINC back on either yet.
