question about tubing in a watercooling setup.
everyone seems to silicon tubing, is this really any better than like vinyl.
also, most places i see that sell silicon charge 2 bucks a foot which i think is ridiculous, can i get it cheaper somewhere? (homedepot doesn't seem to have it on its site, maybe in a real store?)
what else could i use?
thanks.

I couldn't find silicone tubing in any of the hardware stores, you could try a medical supply place... Other than that, I just switched to silicone tubing and I find it is MUCH better than vinyl. Most vinyl tubing is on a roll (in the stores), and (in my limited experience) is IMPOSSIBLE to bend back against the way it was rolled. Silicone tubing is not impossible to crimp, but it is much more difficult than vinyl. If you've already got vinyl tubing in your system, then it *PROBABLY* isn't worth the money, but if not, and especially if you're ordering stuff from DangerDen (or somewhere else that sells it) I'd pay the extra $$
You won't find silicone tubing in a regular hardware store because it is a specialty item. The best place to get silicone tubing from is Mc Master Carr.

Whoops, my link doesn't seem to work. Just go to www.usplastic.com and look it up, it's pretty self-explanatory.
Also, I'm not affiliated with them in any way.
