I was at the site and looked at the combo you have. I thought great deal till I hit the order button and saw a total of 448 something. Its kinda misleading.

E6400 and Asus P5W DH Deluxe for 224 and change.

Could you post a link so we could better understand the situation?

its not misleading bro, you are simply misreading ;)
its $224 for the board, and then prices (obviously) go up as you add ram or a cpu to the "combo"
by going through the combo you can save $5 on the cpu and/or $10 on the ram

The MOBO is $224.99. Then where you see the combo, it shows that you can add the E6400 for an addition $224. Saves you $5.

After a quick look, I have to agree. That's about as straightforward as you can be.

Not really, when you buy a combo from anyone else both are for one price not seperate price for each.

Go check this out since I have bought from TD before I know this shouldnt be a mistake.

Lol.

Am I the only one noticing the PLUS sign next to the price? I may be wrong, but I thought the PLUS sign meant you added the two prices together.

That'd be a heck of a deal ;)

I'm sorry if it didn't seem apparent to you, I tried to make it is straightforward as possible. It let's people select which bundled options they'd like, and if they chose none, they still get our lower price on the the board by itself.

I'm not sure how else I could have done it to make it clear... but I'm open to suggestions. (Making 5-6 different pages for each option isn't a workable solution, and would be equally confusing to some people)

The page looks pretty darn straightforward to me. Very understandable. You can buy the board alone by simply selecting "None" in the cpu selection or for an extra $224.00 you get an E6400 along with the P5W DH.

not really, from tankguys its not a "packkaged combo" like the one you posted. What you are doing is configuring a package to get small discounts on the items. just like dell, alienware, directron, heck even monarch.

Even if it is misleading (which I dont think so) you should not believe that you can get a 200$+ mobo and 200$+ cpu for some 220$ :)

Check around a little on prices so you dont get confused next time

It wasn't misleading in any way, just because site A has a product listed one way and site B has it listed another way, that doesn't mean it was misleading. As long as the listing actually lists it appropriately while not hiding what your getting, it's good to go. Hey you can't please everyone, someones always going to bitch about nothing.
