View Full Version : HELP! HUGE windows problem!!

hi guys i am very frustrated and confused! i am running windows XP pro, and i was using my comp like i always do, well i decide to reboot to get some resources back and i reboot and now i cannot get into windows it gives me this blue screen! i set everything back to defaults, i killed me overclock..i cant even get into safe mode! can anyone please help me..i did not change anyhting to make this happen, and it wasnt a virus because i had just ran a full scan the day before with housecall online scanner and kaspersky..

Reset your bios...
Open up your case and take out the little battery on the mobo for like 30 seconds.

go to support.microsoft.com - look up their knowledge base on the error code at the bottom - see if they have anything there....

thanks guys, well i figured out what it was..it was the usb out of all things! i disabled usb in the bios and all is fine! but it is very strange that it was that because i have not done anything to my usb for some time now...

Thats weird, an almost identicle blue screen appears when i try to scan my XP Pro partition for errors, however, if i go into Win2k and scan the XP partition from there, there is no problem. :rolleyes: Crazy stuff.
