Painting Case / 80mm front grill

Ok i was told to use 600 grit dry sandpaper with water and a little bit of sope for the metal sides/top.

The front is a plastic piece and am wondering how i would do that and what the results would be?

Also i want to add a biohazzard grill "80mm" to the front wondering if there is an easy way for this.

for paint to adhere correctly to plastic - scuff it lightly with sandpaper nad then heat it up with a blow drier - it will help the paint ''bond'' better....

that is how they get paint to stay on shampoo bottles and such..
