WinXP, Win2k, and networking

does anyone have any experiance with getting these two operating systems working on a network together

what protocals and such should i have installed and should i have the two cpus to get ip's automatically or set them myself....im really drawing a blank here because i had to format my hdd to get this to work and i need to get all my documents and such back on the XP computer.....what should i do

NEVERMIND GUYS, I RAN THE NETWORK CONNECTION WIZARD AND IT ALL WORKS NOW....later

Guess you already worked it out Xp is a dream when it comes to networking. ;)

yea, with the xp wizard it took like 2 minutes...when i had to network with all win2k pro stuff, it would take me upwards of 20 minutes to get all the protocals and such to work the right way...so far i love xp, its soo neat....stonehenge is my backround HAHA
