Reading Angst Technologies (http://www.inktank.com/AT/index.cfm) today (Nov 27), it makes mention to 3DFX no longer giving any support, and giving an option to trade in old Voodoo cards. Has anyone heard of this, and do they have any more info? I already checked out nvidia.com and 3dfx.com, and neither of them mentioned anything.

would be NICE....but I dunno if I could turn loose my extremely faithful voodoo...it's been thru sooo much... it's like a brother to me...Where do i sign up? ;)

Eh unless it was a really good deal I probably wouldnt trade it since I need a decent 3rd card for ym 3rd system I'm currently trying to get put together by christmas.

Only reason I ask is that I build a system for my sister, and one for my parents, and used Voodoo 3s in both of them. If 3DFX is truly ending all support for Voodoos, I'd rather update them to a more supported card, since they aren't the upgrade technophyle that I am. Just keeping it simple for the simple folk, you know?

i haven't heard anything about it yet, but i'd love to swap out a couple old v3's i have installed on work computers. there's just no way you're gonna make me part with my home v5 5500, tho.

No, if you buy a GF2mx and trade in a voodoo, you'll get 10 bucks

If you get a Ti500 and trade in your voodoo, you'll get 30 bucks

damn, i started to think if i send in my voodoo, they send me a new card, thats a stupid deal, who would do that??? pny cards are not up to par with the rest anyway

jeez, 30 bucks...

i'd be buying up the vodoo's for 30 bucks too, man. they were great cards. still are if you dont wanna run top of the line 3d that we have out nowadays.
